Tell Me You Love Me Sex Scenes: Katie, Carolyn and Jamie

Michelle Borth as Katie with Tim Olyphant as Dave in the episode 1 sex scene from Tell Me You Love Me (0:56). Eight more willing adult scenes from the HBO series are further down the page.

Yes, Tell Me You Love Me has frank sex and nude scenes across its single HBO season. Cynthia Mort’s couples-therapy drama put Michelle Borth, Sonya Walger and Ally Walker in bed with no soft cuts — bare breasts, bush, real sex choreography. Nine clips in HD, each with its length.

Katie and Dave: Opening (0:56)

Season 1, episode 1 | With: Michelle Borth, Tim Olyphant

Episode 1. Katie and Dave open the series the way the show always will: clothes off, bodies close, no soft lighting to hide behind. Michelle Borth as Katie, breasts clear, Tim Olyphant with her. Fifty-five seconds that set the tone for the whole season.

Why this one first? It is the first graphic Katie scene of the series and the one that tells you exactly how blunt this show is going to be.

Every Other Willing Sex and Nude Scene in Tell Me You Love Me

Here is the rest, mostly in episode order: Carolyn, more Katie, then Jamie.

Carolyn: Episode 1 (2:04)

Season 1, episode 1 | With: Sonya Walger, Luke Wilson

Episode 1. Sonya Walger as Carolyn — bare breasts, bush, the full frontal frankness the show became famous for. She and Hugo (Luke Wilson) are the couple who look fine from the outside and fall apart in bed. Two minutes of clear, unapologetic nude work.

Carolyn: Episode 3 (1:26)

Season 1, episode 3 | With: Sonya Walger

Episode 3. Another Carolyn beat: bush and breasts, the camera staying with Walger instead of cutting away. Tell Me You Love Me never flinches on her, and this minute-twenty-five cut is one of the cleanest looks at that choice.

Katie: Episode 6 (2:28)

Season 1, episode 6 | With: Michelle Borth, Tim Olyphant

Episode 6. Borth as Katie with breasts and butt clear to camera. The series keeps putting her and Dave back into bed even when the therapy sessions say they should stop, and this cut is one of the strongest Katie nude beats of the middle episodes.

Katie: Episode 7 (1:53)

Season 1, episode 7 | With: Michelle Borth, Tim Olyphant

Episode 7. Katie nude again — breasts, butt, the same blunt camera. Nearly two minutes. By this point in the season the sex is as much about what they cannot say as what they can do.

Katie: Episode 8 (2:13)

Season 1, episode 8 | With: Michelle Borth, Tim Olyphant

Episode 8. Late-season Katie: Borth bare, the sex still graphic, the marriage still unresolved. One of the last clear Katie nude scenes before the finale stretch.

Katie: Lesbian Scene (0:59)

Season 1 | With: Michelle Borth

Katie with another woman — brief, frank, butt clear. Fifty-nine seconds. The show uses it the way it uses every sex scene: not as a tease, as a fact of the character’s life.

Jamie: Episode 10 (2:29)

Season 1, episode 10 | With: Ally Walker

Episode 10. Ally Walker as Jamie — breasts and butt, late-season, the therapist’s own marriage on the table. Two and a half minutes of the show turning the camera on the woman who usually sits behind the desk.

Jamie: Breasts (3:17)

Season 1 | With: Ally Walker

Ally Walker as Jamie, topless. Just over three minutes. The show’s other main female lead finally gets the same unflinching treatment Borth and Walger have had all season.

What I Left Out

Long eight-to-twelve-minute Michelle Borth and Sonya Walger compilation reels that just repeat the episodic cuts already on this page. The episode 5 Katie cut failed plate removal after top-crop and stayed off the page. Sub-20-second flashes. Clips AZ labels as sexy-only with no clear nudity, including Jane Alexander. A MrSkin duplicate of an early Walger beat. This page sticks to willing adult sex between the couples.

Why Tell Me You Love Me Still Gets Talked About

Tell Me You Love Me lasted one season on HBO in 2007 and still comes up whenever people argue about how far prestige TV will go with sex. The therapy sessions are the plot; the bedrooms are where the show refuses to look away.
