Aya Nakamachi’s First Photobook ‘1/4’: Pink Lace, a Hip Tattoo and a Nov. 11 Drop
Japanese YouTuber Aya Nakamachi (中町綾) just released another preview from her first photobook, and it’s the boldest one yet. The new cut shows her in pale pink lace lingerie in front of a bathroom mirror, with a tattoo peeking out at her hip, ORICON NEWS reports. The book, titled “1/4” (One Quarter), is out Nov. 11 from Kodansha.

The new preview cut
ORICON NEWS posted the image on Nov. 5 with the headline that her hip tattoo “peeks out” as she “unveils a lingerie look that shows off her beautiful body”. The photo was shot by Yuma Kuramoto (倉本侑磨), and ORICON says it has the relaxed feel of a private snapshot. The photos belong to the publisher, so here’s ORICON’s own post:
A first photobook at 25, and she opens with a bathroom mirror instead of a beach. Bold choice, darling.
The “private shot” mood is the whole sales pitch. ORICON describes the new cut as having the rough, relaxed feel of a personal photo, and the hip tattoo is the detail everybody zoomed in on. Japanese photobook launches usually tease the safest image first. This one went straight for the lace.
My take: if this is the preview, the full 144 pages are going to sell out at the signing events.

What’s in “1/4”
The 144-page book was shot in Los Angeles, Palm Springs and Tokyo, according to ORICON and the Kodansha product page, and costs ¥3,850. Earlier previews from ORICON showed other looks from the shoot. Nakamachi will hold signing events at Roppongi Tsutaya in Tokyo on Nov. 14 and at Umeda Tsutaya in Osaka on Nov. 22.

She’s a 25-year-old Japanese YouTuber and influencer, known for the sibling channel she runs with her brother and for her fashion and lifestyle content. “1/4” is her first photobook.
Confirmed vs. my opinion
Confirmed: the new lingerie cut, photographer, release date, publisher, page count, price and signing events (ORICON NEWS, Kodansha).
My read (opinion): that the book will sell out at the signings. That’s my guess, not a report.
