I’ve been behind the camera since 2001 and shot more than 2,000 scenes, and I can tell you the sexiest thing on any set isn’t skin. It’s commitment. Dove Cameron just committed so hard to a Tim Burton outcast that she made a man with knives for fingers look like a pin-up.

The look, piece by piece: a skin-tight black leather catsuit cut low at the chest, crossed straps and buckles, a studded belt and buckled collar, a wild black wig, chalk-white skin, bruised purple eyes and dark lips, and the long silver scissor blades in place of hands. She shot it against a blood-red backdrop, standing, kneeling and crawling toward the lens.

Watch the blades come first: Dove Cameron’s Edward Scissorhands shadow stretches across a blood-red wall before she turns her pale, purple-eyed face to the lens, scissor fingers fanned around her cheeks. Tim Burton’s 1990 misfit, rebuilt in tight black leather for Halloween 2026. Five seconds, total goth heat.
