Beyoncé hasn’t been on the cover of i-D since 2006, and for the comeback she brought a fur stole, a pair of stilettos and more than 100 carats of diamonds. That’s the outfit. The British style magazine revealed its special Cécred edition on Monday, Oct. 26: Beyoncé, 45, holds a cream fur stole around her torso, wears sheer black tights and towering heels, and plants one of those heels on the cap of a Cécred bottle, Page Six reports. It celebrates her haircare brand’s move into the UK, and Pop Crave’s post of the cover passed 140,000 views within hours.

I’m Nico Grey. I make adult films for NicoGrey.com, I run Scandal Planet, and the rest of my week goes to investments, crypto and AI, so I know a sales pitch when I see one. This is the best one of the year. Here’s every detail on the cover, what’s in the zine and how to get one before they run out.

What happened

i-D posted the cover on Instagram and X on Monday with the line that Beyoncé “returns to i-D 20 years after her last cover to open up about her hair, her family, and her love for London.” It isn’t a regular issue. It’s a limited poster zine made with Cécred, the haircare line Beyoncé founded in 2024 with her mother, Tina Knowles, as vice chairwoman, i-D says. Inside, Beyoncé and Ms. Tina talk to writer Eni Subair about a lifetime of haircare.

So far i-D has released only a couple of images and one quote. The quote is pure Beyoncé: “I had a vision to build something that solved real problems and performed so incredibly that the people who can’t stand my music still use Cécred, haaaa! … because it works.”

i-D revealed the cover on its own Instagram and X accounts on Monday, Oct. 26, then posted a second image a few hours later. Page Six shared it too. These are the posts themselves, embedded from the accounts that published them.

Beyoncé, you told i-D you’re the “founder, visionary, and sole investor — not the face” of Cécred. Then you put the face on the cover, wrapped yourself in one fur stole and stood on the product in stilettos. Darling, that’s the most glamorous “not the face” in business history, and I respect every one of those 108 carats.

I’ve sat in a lot of boardrooms. Nobody ever closed a UK expansion wearing less.

i-D, £16 and a limit of two per person? Charge triple. The Beyhive would still crash your checkout. And Jay, you got the Super Bowl the same day. Cute. Your wife got the internet. Want to see how bold Queen B has gone before? Her hub has the rest →
