Nicole Kidman didn’t get one Vogue Australia cover for November. She got three, and on one of them the sequins come undone. On the cover that has everyone talking, Nicole Kidman wears a red, orange and gold sequin Chanel jacket left wide open over a barely-there string bralette, hands clasped at her chest, under the cover line “I’m a heart-on-my-sleeve kind of person.” It’s her 12th Vogue Australia cover. Pop Crave’s post of the three covers passed 138,000 views on X within hours of going up on Saturday, Oct. 24.

I’m Nico Grey. I make adult films, I run NicoGrey.com and Scandal Planet, and the rest of my week goes to investment, crypto and AI companies. I know what a well-placed launch looks like, and three covers timed two weeks before Chanel’s first-ever runway show in Australia is a very well-placed launch.

Nicole posted nine frames from the shoot on her own Instagram with the caption “Homecoming,” and Vogue Australia posted the covers on its account. On X, Pop Crave and Film Updates shared all three covers on Oct. 24.

What happened

Vogue Australia revealed Nicole as its November 2026 cover star, photographed by Lachlan Bailey and styled by editor-in-chief Christine Centenera. Every look is from Chanel’s Cruise 2026/27 collection, Matthieu Blazy’s first cruise line for the house. Nicole, a Chanel global ambassador, shared nine frames from the shoot on her own Instagram for her 11.6 million followers, captioned “Homecoming,” Entertainment Now reports.

The bralette detail comes from Reality Tea, via AOL: under the open sequin jacket she wears a string bralette by Madre Natura, “thin straps and minimal coverage,” with her midriff bare. The issue goes on sale on Monday, Nov. 2.

Nicole, three covers in one month is a flex even I respect, and I own a few companies that would kill for that kind of press. But let’s be honest about cover three. Sequins on the sleeves, a string bralette holding the line, and a quote about wearing your heart on your sleeve. Darling, nobody was looking at the sleeve.

Here’s my challenge. You told Margot Robbie you never got cast in a McDonald’s ad. Chanel is flying a whole runway show to Sydney on Nov. 5. Show up, sit front row, and eat a Quarter Pounder on camera. I’ll pay for the burger.

And if you think this cover is bold, you haven’t seen what she did in “Babygirl.” It’s all on Nicole’s hub →

The Vogue covers stop at a string bralette. Her Scandal Planet hub doesn’t: “Babygirl,” “Eyes Wide Shut,” “Big Little Lies,” “The Paperboy” and “Dead Calm,” all on one page.
