Top 20 Celebrity Halloween Costumes 2026: String Bikinis, Bondage Cuffs and a Three-Way Kiss
I’ve been behind the camera since 2001 and shot more than 2,000 scenes, so trust me on this: Halloween is the one night a year Hollywood undresses on purpose and calls it a costume. This year they went all in. String bikinis, bondage cuffs, feather bras, leather catsuits and a three-way kiss on Heidi Klum’s carpet.
Halloween 2026 was a thirst trap with a theme. Between Kendall Jenner’s birthday bash at Bar Marmont on Oct. 30, Heidi Klum’s 25th party in New York on Oct. 31 and a week of Instagram drops, the A-list gave us more skin than a red carpet ever allows. I went through every real 2026 costume reported by Vogue, Variety, The Hollywood Reporter, Elle, Page Six, Just Jared, the Daily Mail and the stars’ own posts, and ranked the 20 hottest. Nico’s take: the year Hollywood stopped pretending
Look at the list. Almost nobody went scary. They went as other famous women at their sexiest moment: Halle in a bikini, Britney with a snake, Natalie Portman’s stripper, Maggie Gyllenhaal in cuffs, Nastassja Kinski behind the peep-show glass. My take: that is not nostalgia. That is a casting call.
On set, a costume is a promise. It tells the camera exactly what’s coming off later. This year the stars skipped the promise and went straight to the payoff: sheer, strapped, cuffed and cinched.
Zendaya wins because she wore the real thing, the actual Lanvin string top. Hailey played the angel in a feather bra while her husband played the devil. Charli wins the dirtiest reference, and she wore the cuffs to a party full of paparazzi.
My bet for next year: everyone copies Zendaya and raids an archive for somebody else’s most famous night. Until then, the costume is the trailer and her hub is the movie.

Nico: Leeloo was basically wrapped in tape and a prayer. Cara wore it like she’d been waiting since 1997. Then she switched to Frank-N-Furter at Kendall’s party. Two costumes, both trouble.

Inside Kendall Jenner’s Halloween birthday party
Kendall threw her Halloween party, which doubles as her birthday party (she turns 31 on Nov. 3), on Friday, Oct. 30 at Bar Marmont in Los Angeles. Leonardo DiCaprio, Charli XCX, Tate McRae and Cara Delevingne were among the guests (Just Jared). Kendall slipped out in the back of a car without showing her costume (Daily Mail), then posted her Paris, Texas look the next day. The hottest looks from inside:

Nico: Four years later and nobody in 2026 topped it. Buckles where the fabric should be, fishnets up to the holsters, and a stare that could kill a vampire. Daywalker? More like heart-stopper.

What happened: at Kendall’s 2024 party at Chateau Marmont, Camila went as Regina George’s bunny from Mean Girls and took a tumble on the way out. The Daily Mail said she looked “worse for wear” (Daily Mail, Nov. 1, 2024, Bustle). The clip is doing numbers again this weekend.
Nico: A plunging bunny bodysuit, on her hands and knees outside the Marmont. Fans swear she was wasted. I call it the most honest exit of Halloween. Two years later the internet still can’t stop replaying that bunny tail.
