Sydney Sweeney Turns Christmas Classics Into Lingerie for Syrn’s First Holiday Drop

Sydney Sweeney just cast herself in every Christmas movie you grew up on, and she did it in lace. On Wednesday, October 21, she posted “The SYRN Holiday Special,” a video ad for the first holiday line from Sydney Sweeney‘s own lingerie brand, Syrn. She sits in a white sweater with a bowl of ice cream, flicks on a retro TV “Home Alone” style, Page Six reports, and watches herself play a string of holiday characters. The shop opens on Tuesday, October 27, with four collections on the way, starting with “Comfy SYRN.”
I’m Nico Grey. I make adult content, I run NicoGrey.com and Scandal Planet, and I keep a few investment, crypto and AI businesses busy, so a founder who stars in her own ads is my favorite kind of business story. Here’s every look, decoded, and what you can actually buy next week.

Sydney posted the full “SYRN Holiday Special” video on her own Instagram, Syrn followed with the campaign photos about an hour later, OK! reports, and Complex shared the stills on X.
What happened
Sydney shared the video on her Instagram with the caption “Welcome to the @syrn holiday shop officially open on october 27th,” and Syrn’s own account posted the campaign photos about an hour later, OK! reports. Syrn’s caption spells out the plan: “We’re dropping 4 holiday collections, starting with our Comfy SYRN on 10.27.” The four “worlds” are Comfy, Seductress, Playful and Romantic, and Page Six says the different characters in the ad mirror them. It’s Syrn’s first holiday line. Sydney launched the brand in January as its sole founder, InStyle notes.
NICO’S TAKELet me get this straight. Sydney Sweeney owns the company, writes the brief, casts the lead, and the lead is Sydney Sweeney. Then she plays every role in lace. That’s not an ad, darling, that’s vertical integration with a feather fan.
Six weeks ago she wore nothing but footballs for a betting app. Now she’s the one covering up for Christmas, and the internet still can’t scroll past it. That’s the trick nobody in marketing can teach: make them wait for the unwrapping.
Here’s my challenge, Sydney. You’ve done Euphoria, you’ve done Anyone But You, you’ve done The Housemaid. Your hub already has the best holiday special on the internet, and it’s not rated PG. Unwrap it yourself on Sydney’s hub →

The Syrn ad stops at lace. Her Scandal Planet hub goes further: “The Housemaid,” “Euphoria” Season 3, “Anyone But You,” “Immaculate” and “The Voyeurs,” all in one place.
Every look, decoded
The outlets don’t fully agree on which movie each look comes from, so here’s what each one shows and who says what:
- The couch and the TV: “Home Alone.” White sweater, knee-high socks, ice cream and a remote, per Page Six and OK!. This is the frame for the whole ad.
- Flannel and braids: “How the Grinch Stole Christmas.” Two sets of plaid pajamas, a fur-trimmed cape and a pile of gifts, Page Six says, while she finishes hanging the Christmas lights. Page Six thinks the flannel is probably the Comfy collection that drops first.
- Black lace and stitches: Tim Burton. This is where the outlets disagree. Page Six calls it “Corpse Bride,” while InStyle and OK! say it’s Sally from “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” with straight hair, a dark lip and drawn-on stitches. Our read: the stitches point to Sally, and the red set with bows and a white veil that OK! describes looks more like the “Corpse Bride” bride. That’s our guess, though. Syrn hasn’t said.
- Icy blue lace and feather fans: “White Christmas.” She kneels in a snowy set waving big white feather fans, then switches to a white set with fur cuffs, according to Page Six. InStyle adds matching sheer gloves and thigh-high lace tights.

What you can actually buy on October 27
Only the first collection. Syrn’s own caption says the holiday shop starts with Comfy SYRN on 10.27, and Page Six reports that the Seductress, Playful and Romantic collections will follow. Neither Syrn nor Sydney has given dates for those three yet. So if the lace is what you want, the October 27 drop is probably the pajamas, and the racier sets come later. Prices haven’t been announced either.
From Novig to the North Pole
This ad lands six weeks after Sydney’s most talked-about campaign. On September 9, Variety reported that she posed nude, covered only by sports gear, for the sports prediction app Novig, where she’s also an equity holder. Female athletes pushed back hard, AP reported, and Novig’s CEO told Front Office Sports that Sydney “was driving a lot of the visuals and the messaging.” The Novig ad passed 12 million views on X and 47 million on Instagram, per Front Office Sports.
Page Six puts it plainly: the holiday looks are “decidedly more covered up” than Novig. Last month she also fronted Syrn’s “Send Nudes” collection in nude-toned basics, InStyle notes. The numbers say covering up didn’t cost her any attention. One fan account’s post of the holiday photos, Sweeney Daily on X, passed 230,000 views within hours. Not everyone was a fan, though. OK! found commenters who said Syrn should “fire” the creative director over the Whoville look.

Where to see more of Sydney
Every Syrn ad leans on the same thing her screen roles do: she knows exactly how a camera sees her. Her biggest recent hit is “The Housemaid” (2025) with Amanda Seyfried, and she’s back filming the sequel, as we covered in our story on her NYC date night with Scooter Braun. On her hub you’ll find “The Housemaid,” all of her “Euphoria” Season 3 scenes as Cassie, the “Anyone But You” bedroom and boat scenes, “Immaculate” and “The Voyeurs.”
