Sydney Sweeney Shaves in a Lace-Trim Bra for Syrn’s ‘Hibernation Nation’ Drop

Sydney Sweeney just showed us what drops on Tuesday, and she did it with a razor in her hand. On Thursday, Oct. 22, Syrn, the lingerie brand Sydney Sweeney founded, posted “Hibernation Nation”: three photos in a retro bathroom with Sydney in a tiny knit cardigan left wide open over a matching lace-trim bra, shaving foam on her jaw and a safety razor at her chin. Syrn’s caption calls it “the cozy part of the SYRN Holiday Special” and tells fans to “be the first to shop the collection on 10.27.” The shop opens Tuesday, Oct. 27, at 8 a.m. Pacific.
I’m Nico Grey. I shoot adult films, I run NicoGrey.com and Scandal Planet, and I spend the rest of my week on investment, crypto and AI deals. So I read a launch post the way most people read a menu. This one is worth reading closely, because it answers the question we couldn’t answer two days ago: what you can actually buy on Tuesday.

Syrn posted the three “Hibernation Nation” photos on its own Instagram on Oct. 22, then teased matching dog sweaters a day later. The Daily Mail and InStyle shared the shots on X.
What happened
Syrn’s Oct. 22 post has three frames, and theFashionSpot walked through all of them. In the first, Sydney holds a safety razor to her face with thick shaving foam along her jawline. In the second, she takes a mirror selfie on her iPhone and sticks her tongue out. In the third, she stands with her back to the camera while her reflection smiles back. The set is pure mid-century retro: green-and-cream striped wallpaper, a gilded mirror and dark red tiles.
The Daily Mail led with the shave. InStyle led with the “plunging lace push-up bra” under the open cardigan. The post had passed 43,000 likes on Syrn’s account by Saturday, and Google Trends listed “sydney sweeney” among the top US searches on Friday night.
NICO’S TAKESydney, darling. You’re the only founder I know who launches a cardigan by shaving her face. Most CEOs put the product on a table. You put it on a bathroom counter, unbuttoned, tongue out, and let 43,000 people do the marketing for free.
Here’s my challenge. Last week the brief was lace, veils and feather fans. This week it’s knitwear, foam and a dog sweater. Cute pivot. But we both know nobody sets an 8 a.m. alarm for the pants. Prove me wrong on Tuesday: sell out the cozy stuff first.
And if that cardigan stays buttoned, your best unbuttoned work is already on Sydney’s hub →

The Syrn photos stop at a cardigan. Her Scandal Planet hub doesn’t: “Euphoria” Season 3, “The Housemaid,” “Immaculate,” “The Voyeurs” and “Anyone But You,” all on one page.
The look, piece by piece
- The cardigan: cropped, long-sleeved and ribbed, worn completely open. Buttoned, it would still show a sliver of midriff, theFashionSpot notes.
- The bra: a matching knit bra with scalloped lace along the edges of the cups. InStyle calls it a plunging push-up.
- The pants: matching ribbed knit, high-waisted and ankle-length.
- The color: the outlets can’t agree. theFashionSpot’s first write-up says “ash blue,” its second says “dark navy,” and the Daily Mail says “navy blue.” Syrn’s caption only uses a blue heart. In the photos it reads navy to us.
- Hair and makeup: loose blonde waves, soft eyeliner and a muted pink lip, per theFashionSpot.

What changed since the holiday ad
When Syrn released “The SYRN Holiday Special” ad on Oct. 21, it said four holiday collections were coming, “starting with our Comfy SYRN on 10.27,” but it didn’t show which pieces were Comfy. In our look-by-look breakdown of that ad, we guessed, following Page Six, that the first drop would probably be the flannel pajamas.
“Hibernation Nation” changes that. Syrn calls it “the cozy part” of the holiday special and gives it the same 10.27 date. That’s why we read it as the first Comfy drop. It’s a knit lounge set with a lace-trim bra, not the flannel. theFashionSpot draws the same conclusion. Syrn hasn’t used the word “Comfy” in this post, though, so treat that link as our reading of two captions, not an official statement.
When and where to buy, in your time zone
Syrn’s homepage now runs a countdown for “The Holiday Shop” with the time spelled out: 10.27, 8 a.m. PT, with early access for people who sign up by email on SYRN.com. On Tuesday, Oct. 27, that’s:
- 8 a.m. in Los Angeles
- 11 a.m. in New York
- 3 p.m. in London (the UK clocks go back on Oct. 25, the US clocks don’t change until Nov. 1)
- 10 p.m. in Bangkok
Also dropping at the same time: Syrn’s first dog sweaters. On Oct. 23, the brand posted that “nobody’s getting left behind this year, not even our furry friends,” with the sweaters “dropping 10.27 at 8am PT for early access.”

What it should cost
Syrn hasn’t posted holiday prices yet. For a ballpark, here’s what the existing Comfy collection costs on SYRN.com right now: bralettes are $39, the Keepsake Cropped Cardigan is $59, the Storytime wide-leg lounge pant is $59, and the whole Comfy page runs from $19 to $69. Those are the current pieces, not the “Hibernation Nation” set, so the new prices could differ. Shipping is free over $75, per the site.
What’s still unknown
- Prices and product names for the “Hibernation Nation” set.
- Dates for the other three holiday collections, Seductress, Playful and Romantic. Syrn hasn’t given any.
- Whether Sydney will answer the criticism of the Oct. 21 ad. The Daily Beast reported that some commenters objected to its character choices. Neither Sydney nor Syrn has responded.
Our pick for the real test: how fast the cozy set sells out on Tuesday compared with the lace. Until then, the full Sydney file is on her hub.
