Megan Fox Launches Subs.com Page and Site Crashes on Day One

Megan Fox did not just join the creator economy, she bought a seat at the table. The actress has launched her own exclusive paid-content page on Subs.com, and according to Page Six, fans rushed in so fast that the site crashed on launch day and kept crashing throughout the day.

Page Six reports that Fox, 40, launched the page on Friday, October 9, promising “videos, photos and posts you won’t find anywhere else,” moments shot straight from her phone, and direct access to “message and experience a more personal side” of her. Fans reach it through meganfox.world, which sends them to her Subs.com profile, according to Complex. Her bio reads: “I desire the things which will destroy me in the end.”

For the official promo shots, Page Six says Fox wore a white tank top reading “smart brunette” with red bikini bottoms and an edgy choker. On Instagram she teased the launch with lingerie on her Stories and poolside photos in a metallic string bikini, captioned “a neo-noir erotic thriller. check my stories,” as Complex reported.

Co-owner, not just a creator

The bigger twist is the business side. Fox is also becoming a co-owner of Subs.com, the direct-to-fan platform co-founded by Tim Stokely, one of the co-founders of OnlyFans, according to the official press release.

“Women have spent decades being told that visibility is power while someone else owns the platform, the audience or the image,” Fox said in the release. “I’m interested in what happens when women own all three.”

Stokely was just as direct. “Megan isn’t simply launching a page on Subs. She has a seat at the table and is helping us build the platform,” he said in a statement quoted by Complex.

“You’ve literally broken the internet”

Within hours, fans were reporting they could not get in. “You’ve literally broken the internet, the site isn’t working!” one user wrote, as quoted by Complex. A source told Page Six the page “immediately broke the internet upon its launch.”

The launch caps a busy month for Fox, who also starred in a cheeky campaign for Ro Sparks, a prescription erectile-dysfunction treatment, in a red skintight catsuit, as People and Complex reported.

Why it matters

Fox has spent two decades as one of the most photographed women in Hollywood, from Transformers to Jennifer’s Body. Now she is the one who owns the pictures and the platform. Expect more A-listers to follow, and expect the servers to be ready next time.
