I’ve been behind the camera since 2001 and shot more than 2,000 scenes, and the hottest setup I know isn’t a bed. It’s a girl who knows she’s being watched and pretends she doesn’t. For Halloween 2026, Kendall Jenner went as exactly that girl: Jane from Paris, Texas, the woman behind the peep-show glass, in a backless hot-pink dress and a platinum bob.

Kendall Jenner’s Halloween costume in 2026 was Jane Henderson, Nastassja Kinski’s character in Wim Wenders’ 1984 film Paris, Texas. She posted the photos on Instagram on Oct. 31 with a three-word caption: “Paris, Texas” (InStyle). The look: a chin-length platinum-blonde bob, a fuzzy hot-pink minidress with a low, open back, and sheer black tights, posed at a bar to recreate one of the film’s most famous scenes (InStyle). Nico’s take: the most voyeuristic costume of the year

One more thing from my side of the camera. Blonde wigs are the oldest trick in the costume box, and most of them make a brunette look like she lost a bet. Kendall’s works because the whole frame is styled around it: pink dress, black tights, warm bar light. If I were shooting it, I wouldn’t change a thing except the location. I’d put her in a real booth behind real glass.

Not confirmed: some fan accounts on X are calling it a couples costume. No outlet we checked has confirmed that, and Kendall’s own post is solo, so we’re not running it. Who made the dress hasn’t been reported. My read, not hers: the “voyeur” and “confession” lines are my opinion.
