Hotel Chevalier (2007): Naked in Paris

Wes Anderson’s short film, the prologue to The Darjeeling Limited. As Emilia, a Harvard law grad who falls for her married boss, she spends this scene tangled up in the sheets with Scott Cohen’s Jack, glasses on, hair everywhere.

No Strings Attached (2011): Friends With Benefits

Emma, a workaholic doctor, makes a deal with Ashton Kutcher’s Adam: sex, no feelings. The deal starts here, in a purple bra and a messy bed, two and a half minutes of Natalie at her most playful.

Your Highness (2011): Bathing in the Forest

In this stoner fantasy comedy she is Isabel, a warrior with a grudge. Danny McBride and James Franco hide in the bushes while she strips down to a tiny thong and wades into a forest pool.

Vox Lux (2018): Backstage in Black Lingerie

Natalie as Celeste, a pop star coming apart before her big comeback show. She lounges backstage in a black bra, a studded choker and smudged glitter makeup, snapping at Jude Law’s manager.

Lucy in the Sky (2019): The Affair

Astronaut Lucy Cola comes back from space and can’t settle down on Earth. She starts an affair with fellow astronaut Mark (Jon Hamm), and this is where it starts: a quick, hungry encounter in a darkened house.

May December (2023): Seducing Joe

In Todd Haynes’ May December she plays Elizabeth Berry, an actress studying the woman she is about to play. She studies the woman’s husband Joe (Charles Melton) a little too closely, and this is where it goes: a slow seduction that ends on the floor of a dark living room.

Lady in the Lake (2024): Maddie and Ferdie

Apple TV+’s 1960s Baltimore noir. Natalie is Maddie Schwartz, a housewife turned reporter who walks out on her marriage and starts a secret affair with police officer Ferdie Platt (Y’lan Noel). Their first night together is here.

Lady in the Lake (2024): The Nude Scene

Later in the series Maddie’s nights get hotter. Fourteen seconds in a warm lit bedroom, and the most Natalie has shown on screen since Hotel Chevalier.

Bikini: St. Barts at Christmas (2024)

On Christmas Eve 2024 she was spotted in a black triangle bikini and sunglasses, running in and out of the surf on a St. Barts beach.
