Is Angelina Jolie Pregnant at 51? The Viral ‘Baby Bump’ and the 67-Year-Old ‘Boyfriend’ Rumor, Fact-Checked

I’ve been behind the camera since 2001 and shot more than 2,000 scenes, so I know exactly what a lens, a loose top and the wrong angle can do to a body. Half my job is making the camera lie beautifully. The other half is knowing when it’s lying. This weekend, it lied about Angelina Jolie.

No, there is no confirmed report that Angelina Jolie is pregnant, and nobody can tell you who her “67-year-old boyfriend” is supposed to be. On Saturday, Nov. 1, an X account posted two photos with one line: “51 years old Angelina Jolie was spotted in newyork with a baby bump and her new 67 year old boyfriend.” By Monday afternoon in Asia the post had about 675,000 views, 850 likes and 171 replies, according to X’s own counters.

That’s a lot of eyeballs for a claim with no outlet, no date, no location beyond “newyork,” and no name. Below is what we could actually confirm, what Angelina has said herself about dating, the rumors that came before this one, and the one man who really did change her life in New York (spoiler: he died in 1988, and what he left behind is a building).

What happened: one post, no source

The post went up at 11:24 UTC on Nov. 1 (6:24 p.m. in Bangkok, 6:24 a.m. in New York). It carries no link, no photographer credit and no news outlet. The account that posted it is not a news organization.

The only site we found writing it up, Superbowlh, ran it the same day and said itself that “neither Angelina Jolie nor any representative has confirmed the pregnancy speculation or the alleged relationship,” and that “the identity of the supposed boyfriend has also not been reliably established.” No major celebrity outlet (People, Page Six, TMZ, E!, Us Weekly, the Daily Mail) had reported a pregnancy or a new boyfriend when we checked on Monday, Nov. 2. Her representatives have not commented.

The photos: my read

I’ve looked at a lot of frames in my life. These two don’t read like a 2026 New York street sighting to me. The setting is a waterfront dock with boats and a crowd of photographers behind her, she looks years younger than she did on the red carpet at Toronto last fall, and nothing in the frame says “New York.” My bet is that they’re old festival-era pictures recycled with a new caption, which happens to famous women all the time. I couldn’t trace the original, so treat that as my opinion, not a confirmed fact. The man in the photos is also unidentified; nothing ties him to Angelina romantically.

Is Angelina Jolie pregnant? What she has actually said

Nothing she or her team has said points to a pregnancy or a relationship. What she has said points the other way. In June, while promoting “Couture,” she told Yahoo Entertainment: “I haven’t dated or been with anyone since I divorced a decade ago, right? So I kind of get in my head that that aspect of me is not centered in my life if I’m focusing on my children and my family.” In a longer version of the interview, Yahoo quotes her: “Life has broken me a little,” and “I have to live again. Be free again.”

The quote is still traveling. La Nación (Costa Rica) and Radio Mitre (Argentina) both ran it again on Oct. 25, a week before the viral post. Earlier this year a source close to her told People: “Angie has been extremely busy and focused for the past few years. Dating hasn’t been important to her. She hasn’t had a boyfriend.” InStyle picked that up too.

So the timeline looks like this: she says on the record she’s single, Spanish-language outlets repeat it on Oct. 25, and on Nov. 1 an anonymous account claims a baby bump and a 67-year-old boyfriend. One of those is a quote. The other is a caption.

Who is the “67-year-old boyfriend”?

Nobody knows, because nobody has named him. No outlet has identified a man, the post doesn’t, and Superbowlh says his identity “has not been reliably established.” Angelina is 51 (born June 4, 1975). The “67” appears to be pure caption.

The only recent insider talk about her love life came from the Daily Mail on Sept. 17, which reported a source saying: “Angelina says she doesn’t date but she certainly does flirt,” and that whoever she dates “won’t be anything like Brad Pitt. He won’t be a movie star.” That’s one unnamed insider’s prediction. It isn’t a boyfriend.

The rumors before this one

This is a pattern. Every few months someone pairs her with a man, and every time it falls apart:

Louis Garrel (2026). The French actor plays her lover in “Couture,” and they were seen at dinner. On March 2, TMZ‘s sources said flatly that they’re “NOT dating” and have “only broken bread as friends.” The Daily Mail and InStyle repeated it. Garrel married model Laetitia Casta in 2017; the Daily Mail notes that separation reports have circulated but no divorce has been filed.

Akala (2024). In August 2024 she was linked to the British rapper and author. TMZ later called that link false, and Suggest lists it among her debunked romance rumors.

The Weeknd (2021). The big one. Page Six photographed them leaving Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica on June 30, 2021, where they left separately. They were back in September for a two-and-a-half-hour dinner, per Page Six and People, which said they’d bonded over a shared connection to Ethiopia. Then a source told E! News: “They are not dating. They have mutual interests and are enjoying putting their ideas together.” Neither of them ever confirmed a romance. The Daily Mail still calls it her last “rumored fling.”

Her real love life: three husbands, all on the record

Jonny Lee Miller (married 1996-1999). They met making “Hackers” (1995) and married in March 1996. She wore black rubber trousers and a white shirt with his name painted on the back in her own blood, per People and Us Weekly. They split in 1997 and divorced in 1999, and stayed friends. The Daily Mail’s September story names him as one of her friends in New York today.

Billy Bob Thornton (married 2000-2003). They met on “Pushing Tin” and married in Las Vegas in May 2000, the most gothic power couple Hollywood has ever had. The famous “vials of blood” were, by his own account to Vanity Fair in 2014, two lockets with “just a little drop” each, not the vampire jars the tabloids imagined. The marriage was officially over in May 2003, per the BBC.

Brad Pitt (together 2005-2016, married 2014). They met making “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” (2005), while Brad Pitt was still married to Jennifer Aniston, and became the most photographed couple on Earth. They married at Château Miraval in France in August 2014. She filed for divorce in September 2016 citing “irreconcilable differences,” they were declared legally single in 2019, and the settlement was finally signed on Dec. 30, 2024, per AP and CBS News. Her lawyer said she was “exhausted” but relieved that part was over. The fight over Miraval is still going, per Yahoo. Pitt has been with Ines de Ramon since 2022. They have six children together.

Fake pregnancies: she’s been here before

This isn’t even the first time the internet has handed Angelina a baby she didn’t announce.

• 2010: A report claimed she was three months pregnant while she was in Venice shooting “The Tourist” with Johnny Depp. A source close to her called it “totally false” and her rep denied it, per People.
• 2011: She debunked the whole tabloid menu herself to Vanity Fair: “There is no secret wedding… I’m not pregnant. I’m not adopting at the moment,” as quoted by the Los Angeles Times and the Daily Mail.
• 2026: A viral caption says “baby bump.” No outlet, no rep, no name. Same movie, new poster.

Her new life in New York

Here’s the part that’s true: Angelina really is spending more time in New York. The Daily Mail reported on Sept. 17 that she’s “fully embracing a new, bohemian existence in the Big Apple,” with a source saying the city “will now be a base for her.” A source told People she “never wanted to live in L.A.” full time, and her L.A. house has been shown to buyers.

Her New York anchor is Atelier Jolie, the fashion collective she opened in December 2023 at 57 Great Jones Street in NoHo, the building where Jean-Michel Basquiat lived and worked from 1983 until his death in 1988, as The Business of Fashion and The New York Times reported. So yes, there is a man in her New York story. He’s a painter, he’s been dead for 38 years, and he left her a studio, not a baby.
