Yes, Insecure has real sex and nude scenes across its five seasons on HBO. Issa Rae created and starred in the show as Issa Dee, with Yvonne Orji as Molly, and the series mixed awkward dating comedy with some of the frankest sex HBO put on air in the late 2010s. The strongest nude work belongs to Dominique Perry as Tasha in the season 1 finale, Issa’s own scenes with Lawrence and Nathan, and a season 2 threesome with Tru Collins and Hayley Kiyoko. Tasha and Lawrence: Bedroom (1:00)

Season 1 finale. Lawrence is already half out the door with Issa when he ends the night in bed with Tasha, played by Dominique Perry. Warm lamp light, her on all fours, breasts clear to camera, the two of them going at it hard. It is the boldest nude scene in the first season and the one that makes the finale sting: Issa is crying in a car while this is happening across town.

Why this one first? It is the clearest female nudity in the whole series, and it lands in the exact episode where Issa and Lawrence’s relationship breaks for the first time.

Issa and Lawrence: Getting Back Into It (1:40)

Season 2, early. Issa and Lawrence are circling each other again, and it ends the only way it can: clothes off, him over her on the bed, her legs up, the two of them laughing through it. Not her boldest nude work on the show, but it is the first real Issa and Lawrence sex scene of season 2 and it sets the tone for everything that follows.

Issa and Nathan: Ferris Wheel (0:55)

Season 3, episode 5, “High-Like” | With: Issa Rae, Kendrick Sampson

Coachella, high as anything, at the top of a Ferris wheel. Issa straddles Nathan in the cabin with the whole city lit up behind the glass, cool blue light, her skirt pushed aside. Short, reckless and one of the most talked-about sex scenes the show ever did. Season 3 Issa at her most impulsive.

Nathan, Hayley and Tru: Threesome (2:09)

Season 2, episode 4, “Hella Shady” | With: Tru Collins, Hayley Kiyoko, Kendrick Sampson

Nathan brings two women home: Tru Collins (blonde, fully nude in the scene) and Hayley Kiyoko. Bed, lamp light, the three of them tangled up, Tru on top with her breasts clear to camera. It is the strongest female-nudity beat outside the Tasha scene, and it belongs to the women Issa is competing with in season 2.

What I Left Out

Most of Issa Rae’s AZ-listed clips are underwear, lingerie or sexy-only beats with no real nudity, so they stay off this page. Yvonne Orji’s Molly inventory is the same story: bras, robes and covered sex, including a clip AZ labels as breasts that is just a black bra. Gym and bikini clips (Alison Law, Jessica Vanessa DeLeon, Brittney Ayona Clemons) are sportswear, not nude. A second long cut of the Tasha scene and a mislabeled ‘Rayven Mervin’ upload of the same S1E8 moment are duplicates of what is already here. Short flashes under 15 seconds and very dark cuts are gone.

Why Insecure Still Gets Talked About

Insecure made Issa Rae a star and turned awkward Black dating in Los Angeles into one of HBO’s sharpest comedies. The sex scenes are part of that honesty: messy, funny, sometimes brutal on the characters, and rarely shy about showing bodies.
