Blake Lively nude? The honest answer: the “leaked iCloud photos” and the “sex tape” that have been floating around since 2011 are fakes, and her team said so at the time. What she has really done is plenty: the bedroom scene in The Town, the hot tub and the threesome in Savages, the orange bikini in The Shallows, her near nude role as a blind wife in All I See Is You, the famous kiss with Anna Kendrick in A Simple Favor, lingerie in The Rhythm Section and It Ends With Us, and martinis in the pool in Another Simple Favor. Ben Affleck’s Boston heist movie gave Blake her first properly grown up role. She plays Krista Coughlin, the hard living Charlestown single mom and sister of Jeremy Renner’s Jem. In her dark apartment she climbs onto Doug and peels down to a pink bra, a scene that left Gossip Girl fans speechless.

The Town (2010): Last Call at the Bar

Later, Krista corners Doug in a Charlestown bar, all smudged eyeliner and low cut top, trying everything she knows to pull him back into her bed. He is already falling for someone else, and you can see it hit her.

Savages (2012): The Opening Scene

Oliver Stone’s Savages opens with O in bed with Taylor Kitsch’s Chon, the ex Navy SEAL half of her Laguna Beach love triangle. Her voiceover runs over the opening credits while they go at it, sweaty and sun drenched, and it sets the tone for the whole film.

Savages (2012): The Hot Tub and the Threesome

O shares two men, and doesn’t hide it. Here she slips into the hot tub with Aaron Taylor-Johnson’s gentle Ben in a soaked yellow dress, then the scene moves to the bed and gets a lot less gentle. Still the most daring thing Blake has ever filmed.

Café Society (2016): Veronica’s Kisses

In Woody Allen’s 1930s Hollywood romance she plays Veronica, the glamorous New York divorcee who marries Jesse Eisenberg’s Bobby. Twelve seconds of golden light, satin and kisses, from the garden to the New Year’s Eve party.

The Shallows (2016): The Orange Bikini

The bikini movie. Blake is Nancy, a med student who finds a secret beach in Mexico, peels off her clothes down to a tiny orange bikini, ties back her hair and paddles out alone. Eighty seconds of sun, sand and Blake that made this shark thriller a summer hit.

The Shallows (2016): Stranded on the Rock

Then the shark arrives. Bitten and bleeding, Nancy drags herself onto a rock in the middle of the bay and spends most of the film there in that same orange bikini, sunburned, soaked and fighting for her life.

All I See Is You (2016): The Sex Scene

Marc Forster’s erotic thriller is the closest Blake has come to a real nude role. She plays Gina, a blind woman living in Bangkok with her husband James (Jason Clarke), and their lovemaking is shot the way she experiences it: skin, sound and colour. AZNude tags part of the nudity here as CGI.

With her sight coming back, Gina steps into the shower and the camera stays on her bare back as the glass steams up around her.

The scene everyone remembers. Emily Nelson, the impossibly chic PR director in a man’s suit, leans in and plants a long, slow kiss on Anna Kendrick’s mommy vlogger Stephanie. Neither of them pulls away.

A Simple Favor (2018): The Mile High Club

Emily and her husband Sean (Henry Golding) make out in their plane seats, then she slips off to the toilet and he follows a few seconds later. Mile high, Emily style.

The Rhythm Section (2020): Lingerie and a Red Wig

Blake went dark for this revenge thriller. Stephanie Patrick lost her whole family in a plane crash and is selling herself in London when we meet her: black lingerie and a red wig in a grim little room, waiting for the next client.

The Rhythm Section (2020): The Freezing Lake

Jude Law’s ex spy trains her in the Scottish Highlands, and part of the training is walking into a freezing loch in nothing but a sports bra and panties. She comes out shaking, and harder.

It Ends With Us (2024): The Black Lingerie

The biggest hit of her career. Lily Bloom, the Boston florist, lets neurosurgeon Ryle into her life, and in his apartment she strips down to black lace lingerie, those wild golden curls everywhere.

It Ends With Us (2024): Against the Window

Sixteen seconds against the floor to ceiling window of Ryle’s apartment, Boston lights behind them, her bra the only thing left.

Another Simple Favor (2025): Another Kiss in Capri

Seven years later Emily is out of prison and getting married on Capri, with Stephanie as her very reluctant maid of honor. On a cliffside terrace she kisses Stephanie again, then pulls a gun. Of course she does.

Another Simple Favor (2025): Martinis in the Pool

Emily floats in the candlelit hotel pool at night in a plunging white swimsuit and a pile of gold necklaces, martini in hand, trading barbs with Stephanie. Three minutes of Blake at her most Emily.

Red Carpet: The Statue of Liberty Dress, Met Gala 2022

Her most famous red carpet moment. As co-chair of the 2022 Met Gala she arrived in a copper Versace gown with a huge bow, then untied it on the steps so the whole dress unfolded into verdigris blue, turning herself into the Statue of Liberty in front of every camera in New York.

Red Carpet: Met Gala 2018

Heavenly Bodies was the theme and Blake took it literally: a burgundy and gold embroidered Versace gown with a train so long it needed helpers, a jewelled halo and an open back. One of the best Met looks of all time.

Red Carpet: Met Gala 2026

Back at the Met in 2026, again in Versace: a corseted gold bodice melting into a cloud of peach and lilac chiffon that filled half the staircase.

Red Carpet: It Ends With Us Premiere, New York (2024)

In the pouring rain in New York, Blake wore the jewelled floral Versace slip dress Britney Spears made famous in 2002, sparkling under an umbrella for the It Ends With Us premiere.

Red Carpet: Deadpool & Wolverine Premiere (2024)

Supporting husband Ryan Reynolds at the Deadpool & Wolverine premiere, she came dressed as Lady Deadpool: a skin tight red Versace jumpsuit with a corset, gloves and a sky high ponytail.

Red Carpet: The Red Dress in Cannes (2016)

Pregnant and glowing at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival, Blake stepped out on the Croisette in a flowing red jumpsuit with a plunging neckline and a red scarf tied at her throat.

Bikini: On the Set of The Shallows (2015)

The photographers found her on the beach in New South Wales filming The Shallows, in the orange bikini from the movie under a little surf top, running take after take on the sand.
