The Witcher Sex Scenes: Yennefer and Geralt’s Nude Scenes

Anya Chalotra as Yennefer in the candlelit bath (0:57), the brightest scene in The Witcher. Four more scenes from the Netflix series are further down the page.

Yes, The Witcher has real nude and sex scenes, and almost all of them are Anya Chalotra’s as the sorceress Yennefer: a candlelit bath with Geralt, a tent scene, a season 4 love scene with Liam Hemsworth and a sheer-robe morning with Jaskier. 5 clips in HD, each with its length and what actually happens.

Yennefer and Geralt: The Candlelit Bath (0:57)

Season 1, episode 5 | With: Anya Chalotra, Henry Cavill

The best-lit scene on the page. A stone bathroom glows with candles along the ledge, the water throws blue light up onto the walls, and Geralt sits at the edge of a deep tub with his back to the camera, an old scar running across his shoulder blade. Yennefer is in the water beside him with her hair pinned up, topless from the side and the back, and the two of them talk low, glancing at each other over their shoulders while the candle flames shake in the steam. Nothing is rushed, and the candlelight stays on her the whole time.

Why this one first? Most of the nudity in The Witcher is dim, distant or cut away from quickly. This is the one scene where the lighting stays on her.

Every Other Scene Worth Watching

The rest run from season 1 to season 4. They are shorter and darker, and I have kept only the ones where something is actually visible.

Yennefer and Geralt: Tent and Bed (0:29)

Season 1, episode 6 | With: Anya Chalotra, Henry Cavill

A short one. Inside a canvas tent hung with lamps, Yennefer stands with her back to the camera while Geralt, behind her, runs his hands over her waist and she lets her top drop, leaving her back completely bare. A close kiss, hair against hair, and then the clip cuts to the bed, where the two of them lie under a pale sheet with candles burning in the corners and her bare shoulder turned toward him. Warm light, slow pace, and a lot more tender than anything else on this page.

Yennefer and Geralt: Season 4 Love Scene (1:34)

Season 4, episode 7 | With: Anya Chalotra, Liam Hemsworth

The longest scene here, and the only one with the new Geralt. Liam Hemsworth’s blond Witcher and Yennefer start on a dark leather bench, kissing in a room full of candles, her wet dark hair stuck to her bare shoulder and back. From there the camera follows them to a nest of embroidered cushions and a patterned blanket, where he rolls over her and the pace picks up, with her hand on his shoulder. The clip ends on a close shot of a fire burning in the hearth. Her back and shoulders are what you see most; the rest is shadow and lamplight.

Yennefer and Geralt: Furs by the Fire (0:21)

Season 3, episode 5 | With: Anya Chalotra, Henry Cavill

Seen from far back and high up, which makes it feel like a private moment you were not meant to see. The two of them are tangled on a plaid blanket and furs spread on a wooden floor, blue light falling from the side, her arm thrown back over her head and her breasts bare as he moves over her. After about 16 seconds the shot cuts to a fireplace and stays there. Dim and distant, so it is the weakest picture on the page, but it is a different setting from the beds above.

Yennefer: The Open Robe (1:03)

Season 1, episode 5 | With: Anya Chalotra, Joey Batey

Yennefer sits bare on a canopied bed at the centre of a ring of lit candles, the swirl of a tattoo showing low on her stomach, while Jaskier lies slumped across the bedclothes behind her. When he starts to come round she is already up, and the scene closes on her standing barefoot by the fireplace in a beaded robe she hasn’t bothered to close, her breasts fully visible and her expression somewhere between amused and annoyed. Not a love scene in the usual sense, more the morning after one.

What I Left Out

This page is Yennefer’s scenes only. I skipped clips where she is in underwear or the camera cuts away, a dark scene shot almost entirely in silhouette, a vertical-format compilation that repeats scenes already on this page, and any clip from the rest of the cast. Everything here is between adults, and each scene is a love scene or a bare-skin moment, not a violent one.

About The Witcher

The Witcher is a Netflix fantasy series developed by Lauren Schmidt Hissrich from Andrzej Sapkowski’s novels, which premiered on December 20, 2019. It follows the monster hunter Geralt of Rivia, played by Henry Cavill in seasons 1 to 3 and by Liam Hemsworth in season 4, the sorceress Yennefer of Vengerberg (Anya Chalotra) and the bard Jaskier (Joey Batey). Chalotra has said in interviews that she insisted on doing her own nudity after a body double was used for one early scene, which is why the Yennefer clips above are hers.

Actor	Character
Anya Chalotra	Yennefer of Vengerberg
Henry Cavill	Geralt of Rivia (seasons 1-3)
Liam Hemsworth	Geralt of Rivia (season 4)
Joey Batey	Jaskier
