Mikey Madison Wears Dior to Collect Bazaar’s Film Actress Award in London

Mikey Madison walked into Claridge’s in London on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2026, in a Dior gown and took home the Film Actress prize at the Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards. The Oscar winner wore a grey silk Dior column dress with a fitted strapless bodice, a partial overskirt and sculpted volume at the hips, plus floral-embellished Dior sandals and Tiffany & Co. jewelry, per Yahoo. Her Bazaar cover issue goes on sale today.

I’m Nico Grey. I run NicoGrey.com and Scandal Planet, I’ve been behind the camera since 2001 and shot more than 2,000 scenes, and I can tell when someone walks into a room already knowing where the camera is. Mikey Madison does. She doesn’t sell the look; she lets it arrive.
Below: the piece-by-piece look (and why sources disagree on the color), the Dior link back to her Oscar night, what she told Bazaar for the cover, what is confirmed, and what we are watching next.
What happened in London
Thursday, Nov. 5, 2026. The 2026 Harper’s Bazaar Women of the Year Awards returned to Claridge’s, with winners across film, television, art, music, sport and business, Bazaar reports. Madison, the Film Actress winner, is also one of the cover stars of the December/January issue alongside Stephanie Cavalli, Bella Maclean and Claudia Winkleman. That issue is on newsstands from Nov. 6. Bazaar’s own blurb credits her with winning “hearts, minds and an Oscar” as the lap-dancer Anora, and calls her new film role “a searing portrayal of a real-life whistleblower,” per its winners portfolio.
She stood on the carpet beside Cate Blanchett, who won the Theatre Actress prize. Glenn Close took the Icon award, and Elizabeth Debicki, Letitia Wright, Lesley Manville and Holly Willoughby were also on the carpet, according to Bazaar’s gallery and Yahoo.
The photos of the night belong to Getty and the agencies, so we link to them rather than host them: see the outlets in the Sources list, including Bazaar’s full gallery, Yahoo’s Dior write-up and CelebMafia’s close read.

Bazaar named her Film Actress of the Year and she showed up in the 1947 New Look with flowers on her toes. That’s a woman who knows exactly what she’s doing. Before Anora she was the face you half-recognized from Scream and Tarantino’s Manson-family scene. Now Dior builds her gowns and Tiffany lends her the Bird on a Rock.
What I love is the line from her cover interview: relationships got complicated, and she can smell it from a mile away when someone wants something. Good instinct. In my line of work, the ones who last are the ones who can smell it. If the gown made you curious, go back to where it started.

The gown was Dior. The performance that got her here is on her Scandal Planet hub: every “Anora” scene, ranked and playable.
Look by look: the Dior gown

The dress. Yahoo’s Catherine Kallon describes a grey silk Dior column dress with a partial overskirt, a fitted strapless bodice and sculpted volume around the hips, and compares it to the couture silhouettes of the 1950s and Christian Dior’s 1947 New Look. Styled by Andrew Mukamal.
The color question. Not every outlet calls it grey. CelebMafia reads it as ivory-toned with soft grey botanical motifs and a flared, mid-calf skirt, and gives the look 7.5/10. Yahoo notes a tonal floral pattern in the fabric. So the safest description is a pale silk gown with a grey-on-ivory floral pattern. Bazaar’s own caption just says “sleeveless Dior dress.” We will update this page if Dior publishes the exact name.

The shoes. Colorful, floral-embellished Dior sandals, with flower shapes across the toes in pink, yellow and green. Kallon called them “impossible to ignore” against the muted dress. That is the whole look in one move: restraint on top, play at the feet.
The jewelry. Tiffany & Co.: a Sixteen Stone necklace, Bird on a Rock pendant and earrings, and a Jean Schlumberger Swirl ring set with a blue zircon, per Yahoo. Her long dark hair was worn in soft waves over one shoulder, CelebMafia adds.
Why Dior? Back to Oscar night
Dior is not a one-off for her. In her cover interview, Bazaar recalls that she accepted the Best Actress Oscar for Anora in a Dior black velvet bodice and pink skirt, then won most major awards of the season. London’s gown is the same house in a quieter register: strapless, structured, couture-shaped, and this time with a floral pattern instead of a color block. We are not saying Dior planned an echo. That is our read of two strapless Dior looks about 20 months apart.

What she told Bazaar for the cover
The interview ran online Nov. 2, written by Henry Wong, and accompanies the award. A few lines worth knowing, all quoted from Bazaar:
- On risk: “I want to continue to take risks as an actor, doing interesting things and stretching myself creatively.”
- On fame and people: relationships have become “complicated,” and “sometimes I also can just smell it from a mile away” when someone wants something. The Daily Mail ran the same line Nov. 2.
- On herself: “I’m always searching for a truer version of myself.”
She also said her new part felt like “a 180” from the wild, emotional characters she had been playing, a self-contained, internal woman. Bazaar adds that she cut her dark hair and dyed it brown for the role.
The role behind the red carpet: The Social Reckoning
In Aaron Sorkin’s The Social Reckoning, released Oct. 9, Madison plays Frances Haugen, the Facebook data scientist turned whistleblower, opposite Jeremy Allen White as Wall Street Journal reporter Jeff Horwitz and Jeremy Strong as Mark Zuckerberg, per Variety. Haugen and Madison walked the New York premiere carpet together on Oct. 4. Madison told Vogue the part was an “intellectual transformation,” with “a lot of restraint.” Bazaar says she will next star opposite Léa Seydoux in a version of Edgar Allan Poe’s The Masque of the Red Death.
Timeline
- Oct. 4: New York premiere of The Social Reckoning, with Haugen on the carpet (Variety).
- Oct. 9: The film opens (Vogue, Variety).
- Nov. 2: Bazaar publishes her cover interview; Daily Mail picks it up.
- Nov. 5: Women of the Year at Claridge’s; she collects Film Actress in Dior.
- Nov. 6: The December/January issue goes on sale.
Confirmed vs our read
Confirmed by Bazaar and Yahoo: the award, the venue, Dior, Tiffany & Co., the stylist, the strapless silhouette. Not confirmed: the exact fabric color name and whether the gown is archival or new, which Dior has not said. Our read: the Oscar-night echo and the “restraint on top, play at the feet” line.
What to watch next
We will be watching for Dior’s own post naming the gown, the cover images when the issue lands, and any new casting on The Masque of the Red Death. We will update this page if any of it moves.
