SZA Snooze Video: Benny Blanco Eats Fries Off Her (Viral Clip)
I’ve eaten off worse surfaces. Bar tops in Tucson. A motel ironing board. A woman’s stomach once, which I regretted, because it was soup.
The viral SZA fries clip is from her 2023 “Snooze” music video: Benny Blanco, shirtless, dips fries in ketchup on SZA’s back and eats them off her bum. A five-second repost on Nov. 2, 2026, with the caption “sza… mate…”, passed 1.4 million views on X.
The quote post got more than 50,000 likes. The post it quoted said only “I’d let him do anything to me” and did 1.5 million. Nobody seemed to be sure if “him” meant Benny or the fries.
Watch: SZA and Benny Blanco’s fries scene
Five seconds from the “Snooze” video. SZA lies face-down on a red-and-white picnic table in a back yard, a bikini string across her back, ketchup on her back and a pile of fries on her bum. A shirtless Benny Blanco dips a fry in the ketchup and eats it. Then SZA, chin on her hands, looks into the camera like nothing is happening.

What’s actually happening in the “Snooze” video
“Snooze” is from SZA’s album SOS. Bradley J. Calder directed the video, released Aug. 25, 2023, and in it SZA tries out a different man in every scene (Complex). Justin Bieber smokes with her in bed. Woody McClain and Young Mazino get their turns. Benny Blanco gets a back-yard picnic and a plate he didn’t have to wash. At the end she gives a robot a lap dance. You can watch the whole thing on YouTube.
Confession: I watched the clip eleven times. Not for the reason you think. I was trying to work out the face Benny makes. It’s not lust. It’s a man who can’t believe his luck and is scared somebody’s about to call it off.
And SZA, lying there with her chin on her hands, staring at the camera like she’s waiting for a bus. That’s the joke. He’s having the best day of his life and she’s bored. Every man who’s ever been in love knows that look.

Why people care now: Benny Blanco is married to Selena Gomez
When he filmed this, Benny Blanco was a producer with a funny face and a lot of hits. Two years later he married Selena Gomez, in September 2025. So the clip is back, and now it’s a married man eating fries off another woman in a music video. Nobody has said anything about it. Nothing to say, really. It’s a music video from 2023. The fries are still the best actors in it.
