Zendaya Caught Kissing a “Mysterious Man” After a Tom Holland Breakup? The Man Is Tom Holland

I’ve been behind the camera since 2001 and shot more than 2,000 scenes, so I know a staged kiss from a real one at fifty feet. The one in this viral “Zendaya caught with a mysterious man” post is real. That’s exactly why it’s so funny. The man isn’t a mystery. He’s her husband.

“Zendaya spotted kissing a mysterious man days after breakup with Tom. Both moved on like nothing happened.” That’s the post. Two photos, posted Oct. 31, 2026, and by Sunday it had passed 3.3 million views, 3,300 likes and 940 reposts on X.

There are three problems with it. There was no breakup. The first photo shows Zendaya kissing Tom Holland himself on their Sept. 17 art-gallery date in Los Angeles, six weeks before the post. And nothing ties the second photo to Zendaya at all. The account that posted it says in its own bio: “Every story is fictional.”

Who is the “mysterious man”? Tom Holland, on Sept. 17

Put the first photo next to the coverage of Zendaya and Tom’s L.A. date and it lines up item by item:

• Her: a fitted black one-shoulder top, a low-slung, sculptural navy Prada skirt, statement silver earrings, a black Ferragamo shoulder bag and the new pixie cut she debuted at the Emmys three days earlier (Elle, The Hollywood Reporter).
• Him: a green-and-white plaid Ami Paris shirt, blue jeans and a beige cap from his own alcohol-free beer brand, Bero (Elle, Times of India).
• The kiss: the couple were “caught sharing a sweet kiss” on the outing, which the Daily Mail reported on Sept. 17, according to Times Now. Elle credits the agency photos to Backgrid.

So the “mystery man” kiss is Tom Holland kissing his own wife on a sunny L.A. sidewalk. The repost has the agency credit stripped off and another account’s watermark half cropped out of the bottom.

The second photo shows a curly-haired woman in a band hoodie, ripped jeans and chunky boots, kissing a man on a tree-lined autumn street. It doesn’t appear in any outlet’s or photo agency’s coverage of Zendaya, her face is mostly hidden behind his hand, and nothing in it identifies her as Zendaya. Under the post, the top replies (hundreds of likes each) say the same thing: “thats not even zendaya.” We’re not guessing who the couple is.

October’s other fake Zendaya “kisses”

This is at least the fourth fake Zendaya-and-Tom split story to go viral this autumn:

• Early Oct.: “Zendaya kissed Jacob Elordi.” A blurry concert clip supposedly showed her with her old Euphoria co-star, plus a claim that Tom unfollowed her. The woman in the footage can’t be identified as Zendaya, and Holland still follows her on Instagram (IBTimes UK, Times Now).
• Oct. 27-28: “Zendaya kissed Timothée Chalamet at the Dune: Part Three red carpet.” The account behind it calls itself a “satirical celebrity gossip account.” The real photos are from the first Dune‘s Venice premiere on Sept. 3, 2021, where they posed close but never kissed. Dune: Part Three hadn’t held a premiere (MEAWW).
• Oct. 30: “Tom Holland’s new girlfriend in London.” 9.6 million views. The night photos were older paparazzi shots of Tom with Zendaya (MEAWW).
• Oct. 31: the “mysterious man.” Her husband again.

Are Zendaya and Tom Holland still together?

Yes. No credible outlet has reported a split, and everything on the record says the opposite:

• Married: stylist Law Roach said on the 2026 Actor Awards red carpet in March that the wedding “already happened.” Tom confirmed it himself to Esquire UK in June and has called Zendaya his “wife” since (People).
• The party: a source told People the couple held a second wedding celebration in Surrey, U.K., on Aug. 4, with all three of Tom’s brothers there. In August they walked their dogs in London wearing matching gold wedding bands (People, Elle).
• The Emmys: on Sept. 14 they had date night at the Emmys, where Zendaya was nominated for the final season of Euphoria (The Hollywood Reporter).
• This month: Tom’s brother Sam introduced himself on ITV’s Cooking with the Stars, which premiered Oct. 5, by saying he’s cooked for “Tom Holland and Zendaya, and they do happen to be my brother and lovely sister-in-law” (People).

Confirmed vs. internet noise

• Confirmed: the Sept. 17 L.A. date, the outfits and the kiss (Elle, Times Now, Times of India). The marriage (People, citing Tom’s Esquire UK interview).
• False: the “breakup,” the “mysterious man,” and the claim that “both moved on.” The posting account says all its stories are fictional.
• Unverified: who the couple in the second photo are. Nothing links them to Zendaya.
