While Hijiri’s forgoing math and reading to learn how to pleasure a man with her lady lotus flower is a good start, us pious Muslims would certainly not call it the “perfect education”, as she is still missing a few critical segments of the female curriculum.
For this movie title to be accurate Hijiri would also have to be learning fieldwork, how to properly prepare lamb stew, and, of course, how to knit top-quality martyr’s vests. For despite their feeble female brains, women must master all of these tasks before they are considered “educated” in the civilized Islamic world.
